Shamo Tours & Travel is a travel agency located at Arua Park, F2-664-665, Kampala, Uganda. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use our website or services, in line with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 (Uganda).

2. Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry or request a quotation, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, and the trip details in your request (such as destinations, travel dates and passenger numbers).

When we process bookings or visa applications on your behalf, we may also need passport details, travel documents and other information required by airlines, hotels, embassies and other suppliers.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your inquiries, prepare quotations, make bookings with travel suppliers, process visa and travel-document applications you ask us to handle, send you confirmations and service updates by email, and contact you on your preferred channel about your request.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send travel deals and tips. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Sharing your information

We never sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to deliver the service you requested: with airlines, hotels, tour operators and other suppliers involved in your booking; with embassies and visa-processing centres when you ask us to assist with applications; and with the service providers that run our website and email systems.

5. Data storage and security

Inquiry data is stored in our secured booking system and is accessible only to authorised staff. We retain your information for as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted.

6. Cookies and third-party services

Our website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function. We do not currently run advertising or tracking cookies. Some pages embed third-party services, such as Google Maps (our office location) and WhatsApp links; those services have their own privacy policies.

7. Your rights
