Tour Guide
Full-time📍 Kampala (with travel across East Africa)View details & apply ↓Lead our safari and cultural tours across Uganda and the region - from airport pick-up to the last game drive. You'll be the face of Shamo Tours for our travellers: guiding, driving, storytelling and problem-solving on the road.
Tour Guide
What you'll do
- ✦ Guide groups and private clients on multi-day safaris and day tours
- ✦ Drive and care for a 4x4 safari vehicle on park and upcountry roads
- ✦ Share accurate, engaging knowledge of wildlife, parks and local culture
- ✦ Handle on-trip logistics - lodges, park entries, timings - and resolve hiccups calmly
- ✦ Represent the company professionally with clients, lodges and park authorities
What we're looking for
- ✓ 2+ years guiding experience (UWA/UTB guide licence preferred)
- ✓ Valid driving licence with 4x4 experience on rough roads
- ✓ Strong spoken English; additional languages are a plus
- ✓ First-aid knowledge and a clean safety record
- ✓ Flexibility for extended trips away from Kampala
